In this talk about The Internet of Money, Bitcoin and Blockchain, Andreas Antonopoulos discusses why Bitcoin and open public blockchains are set to transform not only the world of finance, but the internet itself.
Even though Bitcoin has been recently termed “the internet of money,” people are beginning to realise that this is something more than just money, and certainly more than what they’re being told. Bitcoin is just the first layer of unstoppable technology allowing a sound money and transfer of value, upon that base layer many revolutionary tools can be built to give power and control back to the people. This new decentralized internet is called Web 3.0 and Bitcoin was the technological advancement that is the foundation of this new evolution in P2P technology. This talk took place at the Internet Days (“Internetdagarna”) conference during November 20-21st 2017 at the Waterfront Congress Centre in Stockholm, Sweden.
